Judy & Wilson are married!

It's been almost 2 years since Daniel and I have been shooting together, and although we've learned and experienced a ton so far, we still consider ourselves to be very tiny fish in the giant sea of professional photography. That's why we were so flattered and honored when Judy and Wilson (a talented photographer himself) requested that they fly us all the way out to California to shoot their wedding. We totally jumped at this opportunity and considered this to be our first "destination" wedding shoot!

Although we personally did not know Judy and Wilson prior to their wedding, as soon as we met them, we could have sworn we were long time friends from another lifetime. These guys were so incredibly friendly, welcoming, and gracious to us, and we were so honored when they extended an invitation to us to be a part of their rehearsal dinner! Honestly, we felt more like their wedding guests than their vendors!Judy and Wilson's wedding day went beautifully.

Besides the incredibly hot weather and the temporary power outage during the reception, Judy and Wilson were glowing with anticipation and happiness and didn't let any of the small stuff get to them. Judy looked stunning in her dress and the bridesmaids looked gorgeous in their beautiful purple gowns. Wilson looked strapping in his tux, and when the two of them came together, they made one hot husband and wife!

From the family choir dedications to the wonderful best man and maid of honor speeches, the day could not have been filled with more laughter, love, and celebration. Finally, we ended our day together by doing a series of sunset photos behind the reception hall. We loved how we had a gorgeous view of the bay area in the background.

Congratulations Judy and Wilson on your marriage and it was such an honor for us to come out to capture your wedding day!

Mark & Beanne are married!

Mark has been a good friend of ours for the past 4 years. When you first meet Mark, you cannot help but laugh at his ridiculously cheesy puns,his inner nerdiness, and his obsession with "lasers" (spoken like Dr.Evil). He has always been the friend to cheer you up, the first one to lend a helping hand, and one of the most talented event planners we know! It's no surprise to us that Mark was able to turn a simple backyard wedding idea into one of the most beautiful and intimate ceremonies we've been to. Seriously Mark, you should really consider becoming a professional wedding planner!

Krista & Dan are married!

Daniel and I were given the wonderful opportunity to capture Krista and Dan's wedding at Shelter Island, NY back in May. Some of you may recall that Shelter Island was where we shot Kristen and Dave's wedding last year, which was our first wedding shoot ever! It's crazy to look back and see how much has happened in just 1 year!

Krista and Dan are such wonderful, full of life type people who definitely know how to throw an amazing wedding! Although there was a little rain on their wedding day, it didn't stop Krista, Dan, and their guests from letting lose, striking poses, and having a great time. We must say that their reception was by far one of the most wildest and humorous celebrations we've been to this year! All we gotta say is, when "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" came on, there was a full on serenade to the bride by half dressed groomsmen. Hilarious!

Congratulations Krista and Dan on your wedding! May you both celebrate each day of your marriage together for years to come!

The Archibald Family

A few weeks ago, we had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Carmit, George, and their son, Jacob's family portrait session in Central Park. When Carmit first approached us and asked if we could do their maternity/baby/family portrait session, we were excited to photograph such a precious opportunity! Nothing is more beautiful than capturing the love shared between a husband and wife, their adorable child, and a baby along the way.
